Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a meticulous and organized Legal Assistant to join a dynamic team in Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina. This role is essential in supporting attorneys through various phases of commercial transactions, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters.
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, contracts, leases, closing checklists, and transaction summaries.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical transaction files.
  • Coordinate due diligence materials and track critical transaction deadlines.
  • Manage closing logistics and coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, opposing counsel, and government agencies.
  • Prepare closing binders and closing packages.
  • Track execution of documents and ensure all required signatures and supporting materials are obtained.
  • Assist with post-closing activities, including document distribution and file maintenance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and outside parties.
  • Schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments.
  • Manage attorney calendars and assist with deadline tracking.
  • Screen communications and respond to routine inquiries professionally and promptly.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday through Friday, covering first shift hours.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range, with a minimum pay of $60,000 and a maximum pay of $70,000 per year.
